Syntheses of the “FORCO.PRECA.NET” MEETING IN FLORENCE1*/JUNE/2004

SEMINAR on sharing Ideas on the FUTURE of NET-ECONOMY between   University of Florence and University of Toulouse

Morning Session c/o MUSEO Storia Naturale SALA STROZZI, Via la Pira 4 Firenze.

Opening  Lecture :  Intermediate report of LRE/EGO-CreaNET

Paolo Manzelli- Director of LRE/EGO CREA-NET , speaking  about the intermediate Report sustain the need of anticipating innovative cognition in economy for responding and shaping the fast changing of knowledge driven world and for overcoming the obsolete industrial society organizational principia of the international division of labour.

As a matter of facts “anticipation” is more than a linear extrapolation of forecasting; in fact it is not enough to understand the past to get a complex look to the future transformation of KNOWLEDGE SOCIETY because we need to connect the opportunities with the expected results during a deep societal world wide change.

The focus of the “anticipation” is to understand the SKILL SHORTAGE in post industrial management of European Society, opening an approach of “mutual e.learning” for developing and sharing knowledge in a continuous education by means the interactive use of e.learning platforms.

Prof Carlo Catarsi , <cata@unifi.it> of Social and Pedagogical studies of the University of Florence remember the historical “Cultural Divide” happen in Florence during  the transformation of the City at the times of the govern of the MEDICI family.

The previous aristocracy was based on farm production, following the oligarchic republic dominated by the financial power of MEDICI, the exclusion the previous the traditional aristocracy was very strong.

See for instance: http://www.ucalgary.ca/applied_history/tutor/endmiddle/bluedot/cosimo.html

http://www.es.flinders.edu.au/~mattom/science+society/lectures/illustrations/lecture17/medici.html

In Florence at those times is living a family named BISCHERI , till now caused by such social and economic exclusion the name BISCHERI is attributed to all people that do not demonstrate also today “Business Intelligence”.

Carlo Catarsi made an historical analogy in contemporary time to the people that suffer of “Cultural Divide” in respect of the Digital Information Society, that gives a new kind of fragility to person and enterprises that are nor be able to assume the culture of the Global information Society.

On the Issue of the CULTURAL DIGITAL DIVIDE in respect to the precarization and fragility of intellectual job was also the speaking of Dr. Maurizio Bottarini of SOFTEC spa, mail@softecspa.it ; he stress the need to overcome the skill shortage in knowledge economy issues,  realizing appropriated Courses in e.learning organized  in co-operation between University and Industry

Following the Dr. Gianluca Milanese g.milanese@tikappa.it   propose to search for partners for e.learning European projects on SKILL SHORTAGE for the NETWORKING ECONOMY.

Giuseppe Fortunati , vice President of EGO-CreaNET , in is speaking demontrate how the interviews realized by EGO-CreaNET are crossing with a good results with the  Recent REPORT of the Italian Ministry of Innovation. see: http://www.i-dome.com/statistiche-in-pillole/pagina.phtml?explode_tree=13.44

Finally Prof. Gilbert De Terssac < detersac@univ-tlse2.fr>

in agreement with the intervention of  Prof. Michel Founet   < fournet@univ-tlse2.fr > propose a possible co-operation for the future that can be developed with the co-ordination of LRE/EGO-CreaNET between the University of Toulose and the University of Florence. This collaboration can be effectively realized through an organization of an “European Master” developed at trans-national multi-disciplinary  level for professions linked to the development of the EUROPEAN KNOWLEDGE SOCIETY.

European Master on KNOWLEDGE ECONOMY

Following the decision tacken at the meeting in Florence of 1° JUNE 2004 , the LRE/EGO-Crea-NET it is encouraged by the partners present at this meeting , to develop a proposal for the future sustainability of FORCO-Precanet Leonardo Project (2002-2005) and  improving an European Master on KNOWLEDGE ECONOMY based on the next possibilities to participate to the next calls of MARIE CURIE research networks or others calls more specific on ECONOMIC SOCIAL AND HUMAN SCIENCES for Improving Human Potential and the Socio-economic Knowledge Based  projects.  See: http://www.edscuola.it/archivio/lre/knowledge_workers.htm

The 2/JULY/ 2004 in Florence the I would like to be present to the National Meeting in FLORENCE on Human Resources and Mobility on the Research and Development about the 6FP new calls . Therefore after this meeting I would lbe more prercise about the possibility to develop an European Master for training in presence and in e. learning the Knowledge-Social-Economy - European Master.

At this proposal I would like to underline some preliminary ideas and  conceptions that can be insert in the organization of such Knowledge -Social-Economy - European Master proposal.

The Knowledge-based Social Economy (KSE) will develop on the basis of 3 fundamental subject matters, i.e., e-economy, e-commerce, e. govern , all based on NEW THEORY OF GROWTH focused on the new productivity of knowledge management of "not tangible  products".

The challenge is to create a cultural and cognitive infrastuctural ITC environment for the transition based on networking trans-nationalisation of knowledge and technologies, aiming to  enhance  new approaches on globalisation of commerce/trade, finance and intellectual “e. work”; thereby accelerating “e-business” and “e-commerce” and new politics of “e. governance” for improving European Knowledge Economy expansion, emphasising e. learning and knowledge sharing through virtual communities co-organizations.

The Industrial economy loses competitiveness all over the world and KSE can be a catalyst to new profitable chain-value creation where the focus of multi- purposes business is enclosed on the contents innovation and the dynamic management skills for building creative strategies in a context of cultural innovation about continuous and flexible change of  post industrial society..
With those mission and goals the E.M. training  on KSE can be very important for improving a new vision of  knowledge social economy growth” enhancing a program of KSE -based activities in a way that  Non _Tangible sector of Intellectual capital grows quickly and bigger.  - For improving a effective Plan for actions a would like to ask to all potential partners of such initiative:  •How much should the KSE. based activities’ contribution can be  developed on a new entrapreneurial networking strategies by any potential partner ?…. for instance: • Design Intelligent Houses• Develop Multimedia  “e.Ediction” • Organizing extended  networks on “food chain traceability” • Favour information on Financial Risk capital opportunities• Promote Net- Learning and long life education• Realizing R&D network with SME's  for the following targetting  arguments : Areospace, Nanotechnologies …  and so on

Finally I would like to receive your kind comments to this preliminary proposal .

Thank you in advance.
